• Prepare checklist and their status of urban pests in Abu Dhabi.
• Develop dichotomous key for identification of urbans pests.
• Develop interactive key for identification of urbans pests.
• Study the life cycle, distribution, physiology, behavior, ecology and population dynamics of insect pests in Abu Dhabi.
• Study the effect of Physico-Chemical Parameters on the Population Dynamics of Mosquito Larvae.
• Evaluating new techniques for Urban pest control measures.
• Rearing of urban pests such as cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes etc., for experiments.
• Laboratory and field evaluation of pesticide according to the guidelines recommended by OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) or WHO (World Health Organization) or EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).
• Analyze the experimental data using statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Minitab, etc., and prepare technical report.
• Write research papers and publish in reputed scientific journals.
• Pest Identification, prepare report and preservation of specimen in proper way for further reference.
• Build an annual, seasonal, and monthly forecast models for each pest.
• Build forecast models for pest’s population during crises and emergencies.
• Provide training on urban pests and their control measures.
• Supervise and monitor their designated pest control operations teams along of complete responsibility about them, and to ensure with them implementation for contract services implementation plan, survey plans, work plan, RFT and services agreement terms.
• To monitor their teams’ activities and performance in addition for ensuring their commitment to the given job responsibilities.
• To review working plans at regular bases and to report in case of any required additions and modification, in order to be implemented in coordination with operations manager and contract manager as per the followed procedures.
• To follow all their teams staff needs and to ensure its availability in addition to report any further/missing demands from operations manager.
• To ensure daily presence of their teams and to report immediately any absences.
• To Ensure their proper appearance as well of their staff appearance.
• Daily visits to all of their designated areas and pest control teams.
• Supervise the field applications of pest control activities.
• Field supervision of application to ensure quality services implementations.
• Prepare daily pest control applied activities reports.
• Submit field collected samples to the pest control research laboratory with full required information.
• To implement required survey plans, control plans, experiments and searches in pest control field.
