JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:Product Specialist
Reports to:Brand Manager/ Sales Manager
Business Unit/ Department:Pharma
JOB PURPOSE
Strategically plan the marketing and sales of the product and interact with customers to achieve sales target and ensure profitability and continued growth of the product in line with overall company direction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
DescriptionKey Performance Indicators
1. Arrange one-on-one sales presentations, group discussions and educational programs for Healthcare Professionals to inform them of the product features.
  • Quantity & Quality of presentations completed in months/year
2. Possess in-depth knowledge of the product and present it in the latest medical news and treatment programs using that specialized knowledge in order to increase the company’s market share.
  • % Achievement of Sales Target
3. Meet sales objectives and accurately forecast the future sales results of current sales activities in order to assess productivity and profitability of the company and fulfil business goals.

4. Maintain, cultivate and expand existing customers in line with company growth strategies in order to increase market share.

5. Organize projects, trainings or activities that support sales objectives in order to equip sales staff to meet sales targets effectively.
  • Number of completed sales visits per day/month
6. Report knowledge and information regarding sales activities, increase or decrease in market share, competitor’s strategies, marketing program outcomes, etc. to the management in order to keep management abreast of the latest market developments.

  • Quality of knowledge sharing sessions with management
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare/Pharmacy or Equivalent Experience

Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
