 Business Development Specialist
Reports to:Sales Manager Commercial 
Business Unit/ Department:Befit
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for developing and pitching new business opportunities targeting high-net wealth individuals, celebrities, key influencers and others designated as “consumer” or “home” as appropriate who have the intention to install and maintain their own home gym or other relevant installation providing 360 key turn solutions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Create a strategic plan, own and evolve it with clear and concise references to location, consumers and brands.
  2. Develop and establish business links with interior designers, contractors, consultants and real estate agents or other institutions for the purpose of selling to and managing personal home gyms, bowling and other business relevant installations.

• Own, maintain and manage the strategic plan, ensure aligned to the business goals.

• Number of new accounts and data to be agreed prior.

  1. Create a sales budget, manage costs (travel and entertainment) to Achieve/exceed sales targets and GP.
  2. Create a detailed Marketing budget plan to invested as appropriate in specialist media, social and or digital.
  3. Create a silo approach to the consumer at the brand and service level.

• Responsible for internal reporting, analysis and to share years and seasonally relevant strategies.

• Create and manage to specific set of KPI’s.

• % Achievement of Sales Target both personal and team target.

  1. Create and manage a consumer data base that will show AMC, re-fit and other possibilities.
  • Monthly tracking in year one, quarterly from year two.
  1. Understand customers’ needs and requirements to provide solutions. Deliver high-level customer experience through strong relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate accordingly with the internal AKI support team.
  • Number of new contracts closed in line with personal sales targets set, note AMC above.
  1. Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and networks prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
• Account management, development and analysis.
  1. Close monitoring of project execution and delivery
  • Adherence to contractual terms.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Equivalent Experience

Minimum Experience: minimum 8 years in sales management

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Job Specific: Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Strong Presentation skills, consultative selling and negotiation skills, Fluent in English / Arabic considered as a plus. Enthusiastic and passionate about Fitness. Proven track record in sales, key account management, and customer service.

FINANCIALS & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY

Financial Scope: Accountable for the QW and annual Sales Targets, and Receivables

Reporting Staff: Area Manager – Befit

Decision-Making Authority: Prepare quotations/tenders/follow up for payment collection/ PMP for team and local expenses.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNICATION

Working Environment: Office and Field

Internal Relationships: General Manager, Sales Team, Logistics Team, Marketing.

External Relationships: Customers
