JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Graduate Trainee 
Reports to: Head – Enterprise Applications 
Business Unit/ Department: Information Technology 
JOB PURPOSE:
  • Exploring, acquiring knowledge and implementing new technologies to drive innovation within the organisation. Working closely with the IT team, graduate trainee will contribute to the development/deployment and maintenance of new solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity and overall technologicial capabilies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Technology research - Conduct research on innovative solutions and assess their potential applicability to our business needs
  • Prototyping - Collaborate with the IT team to create prototypes or proof-of-concept projects for innovative ideas
  • Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and propose innovative solutions
  • Automation and Optimisation - Explore opportunities for process automation and optimization
  • Testing and evaluation - Assist in testing and evaluating technologies and solutions
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor in IT, Computer science or related field
  • 0-1 year of experience, which may include a similar role, previous internships, or involvement in technical projects during academic sessions
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
  • Passion for technology and a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
