Providing support for keeping a good ambiance in the restaurant.
Assisting to Café Manager on the profitability of the store with assignments of accurately reporting all costs, ensure unit operation meets or exceeds budgeted sales (monitor daily); ensure unit operation meets or is below budget on costs (monitor daily); prepare accurate budgets; review all unit expenditures before approval; adhere to bid process on all contract negotiations; create accurate P & L analysis and action plans.
Supporting the performance of staff including ensure all staff reach their full potential through on-going evaluation, training and development, conduct semi-annual management evaluations and monthly appraisals, establish written short and long-term goals for all department heads, and ensure consistently high morale, energy, spirit, and guest obsession.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
Collaborating with the CaféManager in creating and implementing marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
Assisting in scheduling and managing staff shifts, ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient use of labor resources.
Conducting regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health regulations.
