  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels in designated kitchen area.
  • Receive and store food safely and efficiently.
  • Understand and implement date coding and stock rotation.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients.
  • Ensure precise temperature control during cooking to meet food safety standards.
  • Maintain good practical/technical knowledge of menus, especially signature dishes.
  • Ensure kitchen fire exits are always clear of obstacles such as trolleys and boxes.
  • Cleaning of all kitchen areas & refrigeration
  • Efficient time management to ensure full coverage of workload.
  • Enforce handwashing protocols for food handlers, requiring washing with soap and rinsing every 20 minutes.
  • Always follow food safety procedures.
  • Monitoring/Logging/Communication of daily cleaning/deep cleaning.
