Job Description :

JOB PURPOSE:   

As a Buyer, your primary responsibility will be to strategically source and procure goods and services for the organization. You will play a crucial role in optimizing costs, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficiency and profitability of the company by securing high-quality products at competitive prices. 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  

Collaborate closely with vendors and suppliers to acquire detailed product information, assess product availability, and ensure punctual deliveries. 

Assist in the listing of products as requested by the store team, meticulously gathering, and providing all necessary information. 

Monitor and track orders, ensuring precision and timely fulfillment while optimizing inventory levels for efficiency. 

Aid in order forecasting for both new items and items with extended periods of unavailability. 

Aid in order forecasting for Seasonal Items 

Identify alternative options for any out-of-stock items to maintain a seamless supply. 

Support in liaising with suppliers for the return of expired, damaged, or discontinued items, ensuring inventory integrity. 

Support in Liaising with suppliers for liquidation of ageing stocks by providing promotional offer. 

Allocate short-expiry items based on product performance to minimize wastage and maximize value. 

Assist in identifying and securing the best benefits from suppliers, optimizing cost-effectiveness. 

Analyze sales data, assess inventory levels, and scrutinize relevant metrics to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and refine the product assortment. 

Collaborate with the merchandising team to craft visually compelling displays and promotional setups aimed at boosting sales. Help in choosing the right assortment. 

Maintain meticulous records of purchases, pricing details, and vendor agreements for comprehensive documentation. 

Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. 

Address and resolve issues related to order discrepancies, damaged goods, or any challenges encountered in the procurement process. 

Foster open communication with the buying team, vendors, and other stakeholders, promoting a cohesive and efficient operational environment. 

Lead the strategic development of the brand, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends.  

Lead brand development, product launches, in-store merchandising and category management.  

Manage all advertising and media agencies, overseeing the implementation of the monthly marketing plan across the region. 

Lead and support brand positioning efforts, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand image. 

Develop, manage, and adhere to the brand budget, optimizing resources for maximum impact. 

Work in a multifunctional team to drive sales and marketing strategies across each market, ensuring there is a plan for each market.   

manage the relationship with the UK based host brand and ensure new innovations are tailored to the needs of the Middle East market ensuring that there is the right pricing and promotional plan in place.
