JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Sales Analyst
Reports to: Commercial & Sales Manager
Business Unit/Department: Pharma
JOB PURPOSE: The Sales Analyst's main purpose is to provide data-driven insights and analysis to support the sales team's strategic decision-making and boost sales performance. By generating reports, identifying trends, and offering recommendations, you will enable the sales team to capitalize on opportunities and overcome challenges effectively, ultimately driving revenue growth and market success.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales forecasts and goals based on historical data and market trends.
- Monitor and evaluate sales metrics such as revenue, margins, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales territories, customer segments, and product categories to optimize sales strategies.
- Assist in the development of pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize profitability and market share.
- Utilize CRM software and other analytical tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in sales analysis.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
