JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Sales Executive

Reports to: Store Manager

Business Unit/Department: AKI Fashion

JOB PURPOSE: To represent the company and promote the company’s product portfolio by executing the company’s sales strategy and maintain customer satisfaction levels. Build strong relationships with customers and create future potential selling opportunities. Stay ahead of latest trends, products and competitors and share feedback with line manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service experience as would be expected in a premium and luxury retail environment by greeting, listening, and assisting customers in their needs and by demonstrating an excellent product knowledge.
  • Achieve your individual and store goals/targets, enhancing and developing the business.
  • Discuss with clients and provide advice on general trends in fashion that demonstrates your passion and knowledge of the fashion industry.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers. You will be expected to reach out to clients for follow-up calls, special events and product launches in the shop.
  • Possess the ability to deal with clients of all nationalities and personalities by always making the customer feel welcome in the shop and at ease.
  • Your own positive nature and passion for premium/luxury fashion should come across in your sales approach to the customer.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations. Respect co-workers, handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits. Follow up to ensure resolution, in case complain not sorted, report it immediately to line manager.
  • Assist with inventory, inbound, outbound, pricing and placement of stock on shop floor, stock rotation and mark-downs to ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the visual display of products in accordance with the visual standards of the store and ensure an appropriate level of product is always on display.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution or equivalent preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in fashion retail store.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Job Specific: Customer management abilities. Customer service-oriented with deep knowledge of fashion retail business processes in UAE.

Generic skills: Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
