Job Description :

JOB PURPOSE: As a Pharmacist you will be responsible for dispense medications, counsel patients for safe usage, manage medication regimens, and provide drug information to both healthcare providers and patients, adhering to regulatory standards and fulfilling statutory and professional duties. You will deliver exceptional customer service, meet sales targets, and drive business profitability while maintaining compliance with health authorities' regulations.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Fulfill all Statutory and Professional Duties of a registered pharmacist. (Including validity of license, abiding to rules and regulations in dispensing of the right medications and other health authority requirements) to meet authorities’ requirements- HAAD, MOH, and DHA

KPI: Number of deviations from fulfilling statutory and professional duties

· Ensure the highest professional standards of counter prescribing and Medicines Protocol implementation in the frame of customer service excellence to meet company and professional standards.

KPI: Number of deviations, Mystery shoppers’ reports

· Ensure confidentiality of information concerning customers and staff in accordance with the Data Protection Act. And retain confidentiality of company policies and figure statistics to meet company and health authorities’ standards.

KPI: Number of deviations, Non-compliance reports.

· Achieve individual profitability target to meet business plan set by the Store Manager.

KPI: % Sales vs. individual target, % Margin vs. individual target, ATV vs. individual budget.

· Follow up on item expiries to avoid having expired items.

KPI: Number of items expired in the store relevant to the assigned area.

· Check warehouse slips, received items, and slip entry to ensure all slips are entered correctly on the system.

KPI: Number of pending slips in the pending slip report

· Prepare credit card reports and cash deposits to meet timely deposit requirement.

KPI: Timely and accuracy of credit card sales reports sent to accounts. (Sent on time and with accuracy, usually checked with sales auditor), Daily bank deposits.

· Prepare insurance submissions to meet due timings.

KPI: Timely and accuracy of monthly and bimonthly insurance reports submissions.

· Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures and day to day Pharmacy operations and tasks.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

· Bachelor’s degree in degree in Pharmacy with licence eligibility letter or DHA/HAAD/MOH licence

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmacy

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

· Job Specific: Fluent and Clear communication (spoken and written) English and Arabic as one of requirements from the health authority.

· Generic Skills: Business Focus – customers, cash, results.

· Sales Skills - very good selling and communications skills.

· Work Style – plan, prioritize, decide, and deliver.
