JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:Purchase Coordinator / Logistics Coordinator
Reports to:FBP
Business Unit/ Department:Logistics & Supply Chain
JOB PURPOSE: To Perform the Day to Day Warehouse Operations related Administrative tasks
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 
DescriptionKey Performance Indicators 
  •  
    1. Generate purchase orders using the company’s system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement guidelines.
    2. Collaborate with relevant departments to determine material requirements and delivery schedules.
    3. Vendor registration & management
  • Timely creating all purchase orders
  • Timely registration of Vendors for L&SC
 
  •  
    1. Monitor and track consumable items (such as packing materials, Pallets, office supplies, safety gear, etc.) used in the warehouse.
    2. Replenish stock as needed to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
    3. Managing scrap sales
  • Ensuing all supplies are available at all time to run the WH Ops smoothly.

    1. Keep a close eye on order status, from placement to delivery.
    2. Communicate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
    3. Occasionally oversee the installation of machinery or equipment.
    4. Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless installation processes.

    1. Collaborate with colleagues across departments (such as central purchase, Finance, Facility management team, and operations) to optimize logistics processes.
    2. Maintain effective communication with external vendors, and other stakeholders.

    1. Work closely with administrative staff to manage paperwork, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks.
    2. Assist in maintaining a well-organized office environment.

    1. Managing Petty Cash
    2. Validating and managing outsource staff hiring against budget
  
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in Purchase Coordinator role in similar industry.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Job Specific: 
Knowledge of working in Logistics (warehouse) and Purchase team.

Has good understanding of Warehouse Process.
Has good working knowledge in Oracle, MS office Applications – Excel / Word / Outlook etc.

24 Hour shift pattern

May be required to work during weekends / public holidays as work demand

Generic Skills:
 

Good communication skills.

Very well communication in English language – Written and Spoken.

External Relationships: Customers rep visiting WH, Suppliers Rep Visiting WH, 3PL logistics reps visiting for collection etc
