JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Store Manager
Reports to: Senior Brand Manager/Brand Manager
Business Unit/Department: Fashion
JOB PURPOSE: The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Store manager must be an excellent communicator and demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. Duty includes undertaking administrative tasks, assist customers, monitoring store inventory level (including aging stock), building customers data, motivating sales team, provide training to new staff and assisting senior bm on developing business strategies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintain positive customer and employee relations while managing customer complaints.
KPI: Sales report, customer service & satisfaction.

Control inventory, inbounding/out bonding process, pricing, display, merchandising and placement of stock on sales floor, stock rotation and mark-downs to ensure sales targets are achieved.
KPI: SOH report, Sell through report, KPI Report.

Store Expenditure and Overhead control.
KPI: P&L Report

Assist on channel Development & Brand awareness Strategies.
KPI: Improved Brand awareness, new sales channels

Talent Mapping and Coaching, appraisal in assistance with Brand Manager
KPI: Following up Structured Monthly Training Plan. Recognize & suggest advanced candidates.

Promoting cross-functional engagement by fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration, encouraging active participation from diverse teams to achieve common goals and drive collective success.
KPI: Effective and transparent communication on all levels (IT, HR, WH, Finance, Audit, Maintenance, Marketing) and achieving positive results that serve the vision.

Ensuring accountability and optimizing business efficiency through a proactive focus on action-oriented strategies and a results-driven approach.
KPI: Store Performance
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree is preferred. However, relevant experience or a combination of education and experience may also be accepted.

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Fashion Retail environment in managerial role.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Job Specific: Leadership and customer management abilities. Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of retail business management processes.

Generic skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
FINANCIALS & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:

Financial Scope: Meets Store within the budget.

Reporting Staff: Store staff

Decision-Making Authority: Approves in-store team vacation schedules and agreed store operation related expenses.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNICATION:

Working Environment: Field based

Internal Relationship: All AKI departments

External Relationships: Customers
