Job description:
We are seeking an experienced International Accountant with a specialization in bank account management to join our finance team. In this role, he/she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global bank accounts, ensuring efficient cash management, and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's global bank accounts, including account setup, maintenance, and optimization of banking services.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions across different countries to establish and maintain effective banking relationships.
- Oversee cash management activities, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and optimizing cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
- Initiate and oversee international fund transfers, including wire transfers, electronic funds transfers (EFT), and other payment mechanisms.
- Monitor and reconcile bank transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate payment channels and banking partners based on cost-effectiveness, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls related to bank account management and cash operations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of changes in banking regulations and compliance requirements related to cross-border fund transfers, including OFAC sanctions, AML regulations, and FATCA reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities, providing expertise on bank account-related matters.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline bank account management processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
